Full-Time Dispatcher
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Input charter work orders
- Update line run system with driver and crew information
- Prepare driver expense envelopes
- Communicate information and instructions to drivers (e.g. schedules, route changes, road conditions, accidents, emergencies, etc.) for the purpose of advising drivers that may impact scheduled transportation services.
- Operate a two-way radio
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should:
- Be able to work flexible hours (weekends and holidays.)
- Be able to multi-task in an extremely busy and high-energy environment
- Have strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have strong, communications, and stress management skills.
- Must feel comfortable delegating to Operation Assistant(s), and have strong problem-solving and technological abilities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Bi-lingual, ability to speak, read and write both French and English an asset
