Temporary Full Time Garage Administrator (Maternity Leave Contract)

Provide administrative support to the maintenance department.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order and Maintain an inventory of parts for buses serviced at the Kingston garage
  • Scheduling of all wash bay staff
  • Prepare driver work orders, dispatch sheets and daily expense envelopes
  • Input information into AS400
  • Maintain Maintenance files, and maintenance staff payroll records
  • Ability to handle company banking with proper record keeping
  • Administer warranty claims and respond to warranty requests and shipments
  • Liaison between suppliers, Management and maintenance staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate should:

  • Be able to multi-task in an extremely busy and high-energy environment
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have strong organizational, problem solving and stress management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • 3-5 years of office experience an asset
  • Valid G licence  - clean and clear of any demerit points
